Kirt is the managing partner with over 37 years of legal experience. Although Kirt's career is highlighted with numerous achievements, his proudest is that he has retained most of his clients in excess of 25 years.
Mr. Kiester has served for years as corporate counsel for several Austin based companies such as The County Line restaurant chain and Granite Properties of Texas. In fact, Kirt helped organize the original County Line which now entails 6 company owned restaurants and 2 franchises.
Mr. Kiester also represents several other businesses in the Austin area particularly large and small restaurants. In addition to his corporate work, Mr. Kiester is also an approved real estate closer for several Texas title companies and regularly closes commercial as well as residential real estate transactions. He also handles estate planning, probate matters, and general legal matters on a regular basis.
Upon graduation from The University of Texas Law School in 1971, Mr. Kiester practiced in Houston, Texas for one year before returning to Austin in August, 1972. Since then he has been engaged in the general practice of civil law and handled a broad range of matters such as personal injury claims, probate, real estate matters, estate planning, business organizations and litigation.
